The Sayreville Public Library subscribes to many newspapers and magazines, including the Home News Tribune, the Asbury Park Press, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and more. For a complete list of periodicals available in paper format in the library, click here. The following databases are available from computer stations in the library. For those that allow access from home, you will need your Sayreville library card.

Tutor dot com Is Web-based Learning That's Easy, Fast, and Effective!

Any community member with a library card can access the new online services from the library or right from home. The K-12 Student Center from includes live, one-to-one tutoring and 24/7 access to worksheets, videos and tutorials in just about any subject. The live, online tutoring is available every day from 3PM-1AM. Need help beyond these times? No problem. The center includes 24/7 access to thousands of resources including study guides, worksheets, videos and more in math, science, social studies, English, and more. has a network of over 2,000 certified tutors as well as career specialists who are ready to help with just about any question you may have. Students can get help with homework, test preparation, skills and concepts they are learning in class and standardized test preparation and college entrance exams. Subjects include math, science, social studies and English.

Access Tips: Patrons can connect to the Learning Suite from any Internet-enabled PC or MAC. the Learning Suite is available via the Internet via Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc. with the use of Microsoft Silverlight. Silverlight is a free, cross-platform browser plugin available directly from the co-brand page, if it has not already been downloaded on the student’s computer. Patrons using in the library must use a Windows computer. Patrons accessing at home will need to type in their library barcode number.
