Teens entering grades 8-12 will learn about our summer volunteer opportunities at the library. We ask that each volunteer commit at least ten hours of service throughout the summer. Those who complete at least ten hours of service or more will be given a letter of recommendation and a certificate of thanks. Please note: the library offers a limited number of teen volunteer positions. If you are interested you need to attend only one of our orientations. Wednesday, May 29 at 3:00PM or Thursday, May 30 at 6:00PM. Please bring Sayreville library card to meeting.
2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline is an organization that New Jersey's youth and young adults can call for any reason, on any topic/problem encompassing the big and small problems of daily life. You will have 24 hour access to the SkillsCenter Resource Library where you will have thousands of worksheets, videos and lessons to work on independently. Working with a live tutor is simple. Choose your subject, answer a few questions about the lesson you are working on, and your lesson is underway. Work on line with your tutor using an interactive whiteboard.
