Fiction Cat     Quick Links     Online Databases

To Fiction Cat, a good book is like catnip!

Beginning in June, the Somerville Public Library debuted a new program to promote certain fiction books of particular interest from the collection. Located centrally in the main reading room, a number of thematically related and genre specific books are placed on display with Fiction Cat, and are rotated on a monthly basis.

Each selection in this display is marked with a purple Fiction Cat bookmark, so anyone selecting these books can rest assured that they are guaranteed good reads!

These books have been hand-selected for the display by Jim Sommerville, Somerville Public Library’s Reference Librarian.

August's Theme

 Psychological Novels.

September's Theme

Fantasy Novels

Stop by today and check out Fiction Cat’s great reading suggestions. You will not be disappointed! Please ask a staff member if you have any questions about this promotion or require assistance in locating the display.
