On November 27th we started receiving reports of limited functionality in our LMxPress Plus app. We discovered that the app’s ability to connect to our catalog is broken. As a result, while some features may appear to work they are in fact showing old, outdated information. These problems were the result of issues between two software vendors, and it may unfortunately take several weeks to resolve. To avoid further confusion, we have temporarily removed our app from both the iOS App and Google Play stores.
We are actively in communication with both vendors, and are determining the best course of action, including the possibility of launching a new app.
In the meantime, we have been hard at work creating a customized catalog that is as mobile friendly as possible. This catalog can be used to search for material, view library events, view a map of our member library locations, and conveniently pay your fines. We recommend using the Libby app for eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines, and the Hoopla app for streaming video. If you were using the app as a convenient way of storing and displaying your library card, we recommend temporarily using an app like Stocard.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
Sincerely,
Eric Lozauskas
Executive Director, LMxAC
