Digital Magazines

Libraries belonging to the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC) offer downloadable magazines at no cost through Libby, an app from OverDrive (the same company behind eLibraryNJ).  With a library card, you have unlimited simultaneous access to digital magazines, which can easily be viewed on most Internet-enabled devices inside or outside of the library.  You can browse complete magazines page by page, including full color pictures and ads.  Additional features allow easy navigation, sizing/resizing of text and keyword searching.

Library patrons have access to hundreds of popular magazines, everything from art to yoga.  Titles include Newsweek, Ladies Home Journal, Science, and Rolling Stone.  There are many specialty magazines in the fields of sports, health, technology, business, cars, and food.  And there are dozens of titles available for children, as well as many titles in Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and many other languages.

To access digital magazines on your devices, all you need is a library card and the Libby app for your mobile phone or tablet.  You can also visit eLibraryNJ from internet-connected desktop and laptop computers to stream titles.  For more information check your local library’s website or contact us.
